The Federation of Independent Space Travelers is a group of TBG players
dedicated to creative, confrontational and most of all fun play. FIST members share information while allowing
each other latitude for innovative or aggressive playing styles.
FIST members were among the first to regularly exploit game features such as "attack if defied" and the
first to experiment with claiming a territory. Mendelssohn, former prophet of the Fierce One, brought the game's
first publicly available combat simulator during his term. Andy of the Constitution had the first position page
ever posted in a campaign for galactic president.
FIST has consistently enhanced interest in TBG society since its inception. Our policies on communication have
become the galactic standard. We have been one of the smallest and most powerful alliances in TBG since shortly
after our inception. Little happens in TBG without the hand of FIST involved.
